A taxi driver was arrested for trying to commit culpable homicide for dashing twice a car of district judge near Ashima Mall under Misrod police station area on Friday.
SDOP of Misrod police Ateeq Ahmed Khan said that a complaint was lodged by District Judge Ashok Bhardwaj against an errant car driver who had hit his car on Friday evening.
Bhardwaj claimed that the car bearing registration number MP09-TA-0967 hit the car twice near Ashima Mall and later escaped the spot.
After the receipt of the complaint the errant driver Ravi Ahriwar was nabbed from Bagh Mughalia area. The car is registered in the name of Ruchi Singh of Kolar area.
The police have registered a case under section 308 of the IPC and have started investigation.
