Dr Sonali Bhattacharya, PhD Scholar of the Department of Community & Family Medicine has received award for the Best Oral Presentation at the 4th IAPSM Young Leaders' National Conclave recently held at Ludhiana.
The conclave was organized by Department of Community Medicine of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, Punjab. The title of the paper presented was "Barriers, Facilitators, and Suggestions for Access to Good Quality Care for Non-Communicable Diseases as Perceived by Healthcare Providers in six tribal Districts of Madhya Pradesh- A Qualitative Study", for which Dr. Sonali Bhattacharya was the first author.
This paper was developed based on the data collected under ICMR funded project titled "Improving access to care for chronic non-communicable diseases using digital health interventions in selected tribal population dominated districts of Madhya Pradesh - a mixed - methods implementation research study" for which Dr. Anindo Majumdar, Associate Professor, Department of Community & Family Medicine is the principal investigator.
