Shahpura police have nabbed a domestic help involved in burglary of jewelry worth lakhs of rupees from Rohit Nagar where she used to work.
Police said that Gudia Devi was arrested after thoroughly checking CCTV footage of the house in which the accused was found committing the theft.
A complaint was made by Ankit Jhaam regarding missing valuables which were kept in the almirah on January 12 and it was found missing when he checked on Monday.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation police registered a case under section 380 of the IPC.
The police started investigation police checked CCTV footages and found suspicious activity of the domestic help.
Gudia Bai (30) the suspect was questioned in which she initially expressed ignorance and later confessed to the stealing.
Police have recovered diamond studded gold bangles and silver biscuits worth Rs 1.15 lakh.
The accused do not hold any crime record and in the further investigation details would be investigated.
