The next series of ‘Do and learn’ education programme of terracotta of Haryana and lac work of Rajasthan commenced with good response at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya at its premises on Saturday. Around 30 participants registered their names to gain proficiency in terracotta and lac work.
Sonu Prajapati with his assistant, the traditional artists of terracotta from Haryana is imparting training of terracotta at Tribal Habitat, open air exhibition of the Manav Sangrahalaya. While Fareed Ahmed with his assistant from Rajasthan is imparting training of lac work to registered participants at Ceramic shed of the Sangrahalaya. Aim to boost the creative skills of people and link visitors to the Sangrahalaya and its activities, this programme will be continued till 13th May. Registration is open for all at Interpretation Centre at Gate No-1 of the Sangrahalaya. Fee for registration is `100/.
