Frustrated from living alone a 52-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Jain Colony, Lalghati under Koh-e-Fiza police station area on Monday; suicide note was recovered from house, said police.
He mentioned in the suicide note that he was fed up of his life and does not want to live. The note was recovered from Prakash Kukreja’s house at Jain Nagar who committed suicide at his house. After he was spotted hanging he was taken to hospital where he was declared dead.
Police said that Prakash used to live alone after wife separated and lived with her children. The deceased was heavily addicted to liquor, police informed. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. A case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered by the police. During the investigation police found that the deceased used to deal in property and heavy machinery. On Monday the deceased committed suicide during day, his son and brother came after receiving information but failed to reveal reason behind the suicide.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Kamla Nagar area on Monday. Police said that Tej Singh was found in an unconscious state at his residence and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
