The Commissioner for Higher Education has cautioned the authorities concerned over laxity in uploading update information of vacant posts on website with full details of the staff working in Government colleges in gazetted and non-gazetted categories.
He has given strict orders in which he has castigated regional additional directors and principals of the whole State including Gwalior region. The whole matter is related to the Assembly question, because due to incomplete information on website unnecessary delay is caused in giving reply to the Assembly question.
The higher education commissioner, VS Niranjan gave orders that incomplete information of the posts should be corrected with immediate effect. Correct information should be uploaded on the website of the colleges. The commissioner has also warned additional directors and principals if any difference is found between website information and Assembly reply of the question it would be regarded as irresponsible act for which disciplinary action would be taken against the person consent for which they themselves would be responsible. In his order the commissioner said that this is generally seen that there is no update of gazette and non-gazette post on the website of most of the colleges.
This creates inconvenience in giving reply to the questions raised in the Assembly. Now it is again ordered that the information of the posts uploaded on the college level should be tallied again and corrects the figures.
