The State Government on Friday suspended DIG RK Shivhare, posted at police training school in Umaria, on the charge of his alleged involvement in the MP Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) recruitment scam. An FIR in this regard has been registered against him in Rewa district.
Besides, the government has also suspended former Officer on Special Duty (OSD) OP Shukla posted with former Technical Education Minister laxmikant Sharma. The Special Task Force (STF) that is investigating the MPPEB scam has already registered an FIR against Shukla and searching for him. He is absconding since his name figured in the scam.
