After the allegations of local people to catch the liquor smugglers involved in liquor smuggling in Dewas city area in broad daylight. The dewas police has now enhanced its efforts to arrest the man behind the smuggling of liquor in Dewas city area in the case regarding the liquor smuggling in which three days back the local people caught a mahendra bolero jeep carrying 45 boxes of country made and foreign liquor when the driver of the bolero was unloading liquor boxes at an illegal liquor sale centre in industrial police station area.
The driver escaped in crowd. Locals told that the local licenced shop owner is involved in smuggling and is supplying from his liquor shop. T I industrial area police station Ajay Channa told The Pioneer that we have noted down the batch numbers of confiscated liquor boxes and writing a letter to the ACE excise department Vandana Pandey office to identify the liquor boxes and to inform about the liquor boxes by its batch number as to which licence shop contractor it was supplied. The police is also checking the cctv footage of various cameras installed in city to check the movement of the confiscated Mahendra jeep full of liquor boxes.
