Frustrated over fights and deserted by his wife, a 32-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Bairagarh Kalan under Khajuri police station areaon Sunday.
According to the police, the deceased was heavily addicted to alcohol and used to spend most of his earning on liquor. He used to physically assault and abuse his wife.On Friday, victim’s wife lodged a complaint with the police regarding the harassment and left the house and reached her parents’ place.
Frustrated over the complaint and his wife’s deserting him, he committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at his residence. When the family members found the victim hanging, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead
The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. Meanwhile, a 25-year old woman committed suicide in Ashoka Garden area late night on Sunday.
According to the police victim Ritu Chourasia committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence. At the time of the incident victim’s husband was at work and after receiving the information, he reached home and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. The reason by the death remained unclear.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation to ascertain the reason behind the death.
