Staff Reporter

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed public gatherings and intellectual conferences in several assembly constituencies of Delhi, including Vikaspuri, Uttam Nagar, Najafgarh, and Malviya Nagar, on Sunday. He also conducted a roadshow in Nangloi to garner support for BJP candidates.

During his speech, Dr. Yadav emphasized that only 48 hours remained before the elections, urging party workers to remain vigilant. He warned that those with deceptive intentions would try to mislead voters with false promises and conspiracies. He called upon every BJP supporter to pledge their commitment to the party until the last vote is cast, urging them to act as warriors for the cause of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Dr. Yadav invoked Hindu mythology, drawing parallels between the struggles of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna against evil forces and the present political landscape. He claimed that forces similar to the mythological demons were once again attempting to deceive the people. He stressed the need to support the BJP to uphold truth, humanity, and national progress.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr. Yadav stated that India’s global stature had risen under his leadership. He highlighted that Modi is the first non-Congress leader to form a government for the third consecutive term. He credited the BJP government for its inclusive governance, working for all sections of society without bias. Reflecting on his own political journey, Yadav pointed out that he had no political lineage, yet the BJP had entrusted him with the position of Chief Minister, demonstrating the party’s commitment to recognizing grassroots workers.

Dr. Yadav criticized the Congress for monopolizing power after independence, stating that the party had turned governance into a family-run affair. He argued that while freedom fighters like Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, and Subhas Chandra Bose had sacrificed their lives for democracy, Congress had centralized power within a single family. He alleged that the party had systematically prevented common citizens from ascending to top leadership positions. He further claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was now following the same path as Congress.

Targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Yadav compared him to the mythological figure Ravana, accusing him of deceiving the people for political gains. He alleged that Kejriwal had betrayed his initial promises of living a simple life and not forming a political party, only to later indulge in extravagant governance and mismanagement. He criticized the deteriorating condition of Delhi, citing garbage accumulation and water scarcity in the Yamuna River, and claimed that Kejriwal’s governance had pushed the city into decline. Dr. Yadav expressed confidence that Delhi residents had made up their minds to elect a BJP government for the city’s progress.

Speaking at a conference in support of BJP candidate and Madhya Pradesh BJP co-in-charge Satish Upadhyay in Malviya Nagar, Dr. Yadav praised the Union Budget presented by the Modi government, stating that it addressed the needs of every section of society. He reiterated that Modi’s governance was committed to strengthening democracy and the Constitution. He claimed that the people of India were rejecting those who had previously undermined democracy and expressed confidence that Delhi voters would deliver a strong message in the upcoming elections. National spokesperson Nalin Kohli and a large number of intellectuals were present at the event.
