All India Civil Services Soccer competition Delhi, Haryana, RSB, Chandigarh and RSB Bengaluru gave impressive performance in the quarter-finals played at the Soccer Ground at the City Stadium. They performed brilliantly and were successful in making the semi-finals. Semi Final matches will be played on Friday.
CS Delhi defeated Chandigarh by 4-0 in quarter-finals to be played today under the All India Civil Services Soccer Tournament.
Delhi team player Owed scored one goal in 9th, 38th and 72nd minute and Ajay Rawat scored a goal in the 21st minute to give the team a 4-0 win.
In the second quarter-final, Haryana defeated Maharashtra 3-0. On the other hand, Tejinder Singh scored 28th and 71st minute and Pradip Singh scored a goal each in the 43rd minute and made the team a place in the semi-finals.
The third and the fourth quarter final match was decided by a Tie Breaker. In which RSB Chandigarh defeated RSB Chennai 6-5 and RSB Bengaluru beat RSB Kochi 4-2.
The thrilling encounter between RSB Chandigarh and RSB Chennai was at par with each other.
While rivalry between RSB Bengaluru and RSB Kochi was also tied to zero-zero.
The first semi final will be played at TT Nagar stadium and second half will be played at Motilal Nehru Stadium.
