Dejected over denial of regularising around 1,019 contractual woman supervisors of MP Women and Child Development Department, a delegate of woman supervisors have demanded permission of euthanasia for them and their families on the occasion of Diwali festival from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
A delegate of MP Contractual Employee Union went to the CM house carrying placards Shivraj mama hamare parivar ko ichchha mrityu ki anumati de do (Shivraj uncle please permit Euthanasia to our families).On February 18, 2014 around 3,215 permanent posts were approved for MP Women and Child Development Department and in which 1,019 permanent posts of woman supervisors were also sanctioned against the 1,019 contractual woman supervisors but these candidates were not provided with the permanent post and advertisement of recruitment for these posts was published.
The delegation has claimed that those woman supervisors have been working for the past five years and are not capable to compete with the girl students who have prepared for the competition as they were engaged in their assigned work of the department.
Earlier, around five years ago these woman supervisors have given the examinations conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) and were selected on the basis of merit and now after five years when the candidates have lost their touch with studies they have been asked to take the examination conducted by MPPEB again and clear the examination.
Protesting woman supervisors have alleged that state government is using double standards as based on their experience Panchayat secretaries, Guruji and Shikshakarmi were regularized but woman supervisors who were selected on merit basis have been asked to clear the examinations even after having five years of experience.
