Days of dynastic politics over: BJP

SR

The Bharatiya Janata Party has claimed that the era of politics of dynasty, communalism and appeasement is over in the country.

BJP Madhya Pradesh spokesman Vijender Singh Sisodia, in a statement here on Sunday, said, “The people of the country have, on the one hand, given a strong reply to the dynastic politics while electing the 16th lok Sabha and, on the other hand, have defeated all those who used to do politics by giving lollypop of appeasement.”

Sisodia said that the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, had warned during the run for the general elections that the days of politics and Government of the mother and son (Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi) are over.

He also warned of father-son Government in Uttar Pradesh that appeasement is not the solution for the problems and that justice for all and equal opportunities is the main sentiment of the Constitution and this should be respected, he added.

He said that after the first prime minister of the country the late Jawaharlal Nehru and later Indira Gandhi,  the people of the country have given positive reply to Narendra Modi’s call by giving absolute majority to the BJP. Modi has given bigger shape to the coalition made by Atal Behari Vajpayee by becoming pioneer of coalitions while by limiting the Congress into double figures has written it off from the political arena for now, he added.

He said that those who used to do politics of castes, including Mayawati, Mulayam Singh, RlD, National Conference and others, have also been shown the door by the electorate.

The UPA Government has been paid to do the politics of appeasement and the people of the country have given overwhelming majority and mandate to the simple and justice-for-all politics of the BJP, he added.
