The literature enthusiasts had a great Sunday as they unfolded the stories of seven enthusiastic youngsters while witnessing the book recital of Dark White and met the author in ‘Meet The Author’ held at Swami Vivekananda library on Sunday. A book reading session ‘Meet the Author’ was organised for the literature lovers of the city at Swami Vivekananda library on Sunday.

Before the discussion and the book recital, the theatre artiste Rahul and a medical student lalima staged two scenes from the book. These scenes included the description of a hospital and a police station. The book tells the story of seven friends, who have few motives of life and they have set rules to accompalish them. But as they move on to fulfill these aims, they face troubles. Rules are made to keep integrity of a game, but Dark White finds the loopholes. Karma is decided as one fights inner fears. These fears provoke minds to overtake the reason to exist and turn basics of the game.

Neelakshi Thakur fears of becoming an average housewife, and becomes the owner of a PR Company. Keval has a nagging fear of ending up with an unsuccessful career; he becomes the youngest CM of the State. Karan thinks he will fail to travel the world, but becomes the owner of a travel company. Shashank fears of becoming a pauper and ends up learning the secret of generating wealth. Raj Bhandari becomes so influential that no decision is taken without his consent. Rajat Chandani fears of making his parents unhappy, and becomes the most celebrated stand-up comedian. Greshma Rastogi, who is scared of the opposite gender, rises to become a much feared name in 'journalism'.

The audiences were hooked up in the story a lot as Shweta recited it beautifully. She also interacted with them about her experiences while she was writing this novel. She said, “Since childhood I had a habit to write things I see around and I used to write my feelings in a poetic form. later, I presented my skills through novels to the literature lovers.” It was a wonderful experience for the literature enthusiasts to witness the book recital.
