Crime branch Bhopal arrested a drug peddler and recovered 10 grams of MD near Central Library; accused used to change the password every day to evade arrest.
The crime branch recovered 10 grams of MD from the accused. The accused makes small packets and sells them to youth.
Police station crime branch got information that a boy wearing a blue shirt and black color lower pants is carrying drug MD powder illegally near Central Library ground. The suspect is carrying MD powder and waiting for person to sell.
On receiving the information team of Crime Branch reached the spot and find the youth with the same description and was detained.
The detainee was identified as Aman Khan alias Aman Malik and when he was frisked a zipped foil was found in which 5 small packets were found. After checking the narcotic substance as told by the suspect, it was found to be MD powder.
After the initial investigation police have registered a case under sections 8 and 20 of the NDPS Act. The crime record of the accused would be investigated. The local connection of drug peddlers would be investigated in the further investigation.
The drug peddler used to sell drugs in small quantities which helped him to evade suspicion and arrest.
