For the prevention of crimes, patrolling, checking and awareness campaigns should be launched continuously in settlements and areas with criminal activity, Police Commissioner Makarand Deoskar.
In view of crime control and common man's security arrangements, a review meeting was held in the commissioner's office by Commissioner of Police Makrand Deoskar this evening, in which all DCPs, Additional DCPs, ACPs and station in-charges and other officers were present.
Police Commissioner Deuskar congratulated all the officers and police family for the new year at the beginning of the meeting and while appreciating the achievements of the Bhopal Police last year and the innovations made in the Commissionerate "How is your police", "Creation" etc. This year also he expects better policing from all the officers.
Deuskar directed the officers to arrest the accused in crimes against women and serious crimes as soon as possible so that the victim can get justice and the accused can be punished.
Regular patrolling and public awareness campaigns should be conducted in the localities and areas where maximum cases of 363 IPC are happening and excessive criminal activities are taking place and solve the problems of common people.
Take action under section 110 CrPC against habitual criminals and do bound overs. Review the complaints of the CM Helpline and resolve them immediately.
