Annoyed over the proposal of establishing slaughter house in Adampur Chawani, local corporators faced ire of the locals who raised slogans over houses and vehicles of local people’s representatives in the night on Tuesday.
locals wearing helmets and writing slogans against the corporators and MlA who failed to oppose opening of slaughterhouse in the area could be witnessed in the CCTV footages obtained from the CCTV cameras installed in the area.
The locals were enraged over MlA Surendranath singh and corporators of their area. The locals went further and along with raising slogans in protest they have written on the car of one of the corporators. The locals have written that the corporator is traitor and it was written on the house and car of the corporator.
The protest was registered after proposal of establishing slaughter house in Adampur Chawani was passed in the general council meeting of the BMC on Tuesday.
The locals have formed a cell Grameen Sangrash Morcha to oppose the move and have organised a press briefing in which the members claimed that in case if slaughter house would open in Adampur Chawani they would paint black on the houses of corporator and MlA.
late in the night on Tuesday houses of MlA Surendranath Singh, corporators Rashmi Dubey, Seema Yadav, Archana Parmar were painted black by locals protesting the opening of slaughter house in their area.
