An array of creativity is wooing the city’s art lovers. A group exhibition, ‘Contextualisation of Freedom’ is being put up at Alliance Francasie de Bhopal’s Art Gallery and is receiving an overwhelming response.

Alliance Française de Bhopal, the Indo-French Cultural Centre, with the support of French Embassy of India, organised an exhibition of Paintings entitled ‘Contextualisation of Freedom’. The painting is being put up by young artists from Khairagarh at Alliance Française de Bhopal, Gallery from Saturday.

The artists have painted their perceptions over the canvas that clearly showcases their love for nature. They have tried to bring the charm and sheer beauty of the nature in their own way.

Each one of them has his own way of handling colours and forms. They are spontaneous, expressive and open to any mode of art and art material. They are experimenting with zest and finding their solutions to start a long journey. It is the beginning of their walk in to the unknown world of art and expression.

An artist Deeksha portrays birds and animals in her paintings. She has a linkage to Madhubani traditional paintings. She did not exactly copy the concept, but made her creations look even more interesting with innovation.

Another artist Ankita is a bit different in her approach. like many artists have done in the past, she is inspired from the inner world of art. Her subject exists in her medium. Her colours and their relationships are the subject. She tries to read out their behaviour when they are put together.

The new set of artists with new ways of seeing and using same old medium will display their creations. The young artists include Rajneesh, Shashi, Vikash, Gareema, Bhuvaneshwar and Milan. The exhibition will be on view till April 25.
