Madhya Pradesh Congress General Secretary Mohd Salim passed away here on Monday, while undergoing treatment for Corona.
His wife Mehzabeen too died of Corona around two weeks ago. Since, Mohd Salim was admitted in Chirayu hospital for Coronavirus treatment, he could not attend her last rites.
Former Vice Chairman of Bhopal Development Authority (BDA), Mohd Salim was considered close to former Chief Minister Kamal Nath for over four decades.
PCC Chief Kamal Nath paying homage to the departed soul said that the demise of Mohd Salim is a personal loss to him. PCC office bearers have also expressed profound grief over his untimely death. He was laid to rest at Jehangirabad graveyard.
