Only few days after the Congress came to power in Madhya Pradesh, one of its Ministers has been caught on camera saying employees who do not cooperate with their seniors will be kicked out.
In a video that is doing rounds on social media showed State Labour Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia telling party leaders, "Jo karamchari adhikari paalan nahi karega, usko laat deke bahar kardiya jayega (The workers who do not follow the instructions of the senior officials will be kicked out)."
Notably, Sisodia, from the camp of senior Congress leader and parliamentarian Jyotiraditya Scindia was sworn in on December 25 as a member of Chief Minister Kamal Nath's cabinet. He was speaking at a party gathering at his constituency Bamori on December 31. "I didn't become cabinet minister...every person here is a minister. You will face no problem. Call officials for any problem you have. If they don't listen, tell me."
The Congress returned to power last month following assembly polls and ousted the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government.
BJP’s State Spokesman Rajneesh Agrawal has attacked the minister, saying, "I don't know from where the ministers have been picked up. Their behaviour is unparliamentary. The minister who says those who don't work will be kicked out, can he run the ministry? Madhya Pradesh is a land of peace. I think they are out of power for so long, that's why they have lost the mental balance," he said.
