Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that while BJP has developed Madhya Pradesh, Congress gets angry over development of the state. Congress has exploited poor and never done anything for poor. Indira Gandhi used to say poverty would be eradicated but Congressnever succeeded to remove poverty in the country and state and BJP worked to remove poverty from Madhya Pradesh, he added.
He was addressing public meeting at Bairaad and Karrera of Pohari state constituency. In Bairaad CM Chouhan was addressing public meeting while campaigning for Bairaad BJP candidate Prahlad Bharti.
He said people do not get angry but it is Congress who gets angry as it is away from power and throne for the past 15 years. The uneasiness in the Congress is of regaining power. At the time of Congress state was in shambles and people were devoid of basic facilities due to negligence and mismanagement. Congress gets angry for every pro-people scheme and project launch like Sambal, better irrigation facility, pilgrimage for elders.
In Bairaad there was no facility of irrigation. Only 7.5 lakh hectares of land was irrigated in the reign by Congress and which was increased to 41 lakh hectares of land.
At the time of Congress rule education system was ruined, teachers were paid in the range of Rs 500- Rs 1200 and BJP made the salary in the range of Rs 40000 to Rs 60000. Free books, uniform, bicycles for girl students were provided by BJP government.
For making state prosperous he said that he sleeps for only three hours. He is concerned for development of the state and for the people of the state.
