Bastar Divisional Commissioner Dileep Wasnikar conducted a surprise inspection of various departments in Narayanpur district headquarters.
The Commissioner inspected offices of District Education Officer, Horticulture, labour, District Treasury and Excise Department. He also visited various sections of the Collectorate. Wasnikar took stock of official work and gave instructions to officers and employees regarding keeping registers and documents.
Narayanpur Collector Toman Singh Sonwani, Additional Collector MS Otti,Sub-divisional Magistrate MR Chelak and other district-level officers from various departments were present on the occasion. Wasnikar gathered information about public services being provided through lok Seva Kendra established at the Collectorate.
He also asked about allocated budget of relief branch of the Collectorate and its use. Besides the relief camp, he inspected revenue, accounts, food, complaint, mineral, land and other sections.
He also visited Flood Control Room and directed the employees to remain alert and ensure the working of the Control Room round-the-clock.
