Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has congratulated the beneficiaries of "Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural)" by writing a personal letter to them on getting houses. He has said "I hope that you will be living with joy and happiness in your new residence. You have been selected in the scheme and you have completed the construction of the house, congratulations to you and your family. Wishing you all the best for prosperity."

Chouhan has said that housing is the basic need of every family. Keeping this concept in view, “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – (Rural)” has been started by our glorious Prime Minister Narendra Modi in “Housing for All-2022”.

Under the scheme for the all-round development of poor families, one lakh 20 thousand rupees / one lakh 30 thousand rupees are provided rupees for construction of houses Rs 12,000 for construction of toilets from Swachh Bharat Mission and 18 thousand rupees from MNREGA along with other assistance. The benefits of government schemes are also given to the family.

Chouhan has said that home is a gift to poor families who are without houses, which not only fulfills their basic needs of life, but also increases their self-confidence. A family with housing becomes free from the shackles of poverty and becomes able to move on the path of success in life and it also paves the way for children's education and their successful future.
