Adopting policy of zero tolerance towards corruption, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan suspended with immediate effect three engineers of Public Works Department found guilty of irregularities during his surprise inspection in Vidisha district on Saturday.
The suspended engineers include Vidisha PWD Department’s Executive Engineer Yogendra Kumar, Vidisha PWD Sub-Division’s assistant engineer Dinesh Kumar Barele and sub-engineer DK Sahu. On the directives of the Chief Minister, their suspension orders were released immediately.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Chouhan had reached Marinador-Ambar Road near Vidisha for surprise inspection. He found the road asphalt quality not satisfactory. Seeing it as negligence in work, the Chief Minister took serious note and ordered the suspension of these engineers immediately. Executive engineer PWD, Bhopal, Sanjay Khande has been transferred immediately to Vidisha.
