After concluding the three-day Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) here on Friday, the State Government has finalised a strategy to actually materialise the proposals of industrialists.

Detailing about the strategy, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told media persons that within one month’s time the investors would be called over phone and a meeting would be fixed separately.

Besides, the Chief Minister said that Government officials would be appointed as investment manager with every investor and he would take care of all the problems of industrialists. Whether they require permissions from any department or completing formalities; the manager would deal with them directly, he added. Chouhan stated that besides these steps, his doors were always open for the investors and further announced he would ‘reserve’ one day, Monday, every week for them. Not only those who participated in the GIS, new investors may also meet him on Mondays, he added.

Notably, Chouhan is already devoting his Mondays to investors. However, when he is not in Bhopal, the investors may face problems. Keeping this in view, Chouhan said that from now on, his Cabinet colleagues and officials of related departments would reserve half day of their Mondays for investors. Chouhan said that a roadmap will be chalked out on the basis of investment proposals received at the summit. Sanctions will be given through single-door system by associating one officer with every investor.

He said that for industries, Madhya Pradesh has water, power, connectivity, land, talents and trust. On the basis of these, he will leave no stone unturned to realise ‘Make in India’ dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will get a report prepared on “Ease of Business doing in Madhya Pradesh” and present it before the country.

He urged entrepreneurs to become partner in development of the State and restructure a new Madhya Pradesh. Trust of investors will not be broken. He will meet investors every Monday. Investors may also give their suggestions on ‘Ideas for CM website’. He said that he wishes to develop such an economy in Madhya Pradesh where every person is happy, successful and lives a meaningful life. Madhya Pradesh will be a state where craftspersons, art and culture will be respected. Venture Credit Fund will be instituted to promote innovations.
