Addressing an election meeting at Ghantaghar Square located ground in Maihar on Wednesday, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Maihar is being developed as the city of my dreams.
Chouhan said, “I call on the people of Maihar to elect the municipal chairman of that party which’s MlA and MP you have elected to pave way for the development of the region. Provision of Rs 25 crore has been done to make Maihar a smart city. Whatever, demands were made by the people of the city during the assembly elections have either been fulfilled and work plan for those that are left is under progress.”
Chouhan further said that financial resources are not hurdle in making Maihar a smart city but the thing is that the responsibility of carrying out construction works in municipalities lies with municipality chairman, hence elect Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Dhiraj Pande for the post of municipality chairman and handover responsibility in capable hands. “Vote for BJP candidate for municipality chairman Dhiraj Pande and in all 24 wards cast your votes in favor of BJP candidate on July 15,” he added.
He said elect BJP candidates and the guarantee of Maihar’s golden development would be of Shivraj Singh Chouhan. “During assembly election also commitment for development of Maihar assembly constituency was given by me, work on that has been started. But keep in mind that the axle of development of the Maihar assembly constituency would be Maihar municipality and the chairman of municipality would hold the whole sole power for that. Hence, vote for BJP candidate by pushing lotus symbol on July 15 and get assured for the development of development of Maihar,” Chouhan said.
Many BSP, Dalit Vikas Party and other party’s office bearers and members joined BJP on the occasion in front of chief minister.
