On the occasion of Pandit Deen Dayal Jayanti, Chief Minister Raman Singh gifted 46 city buses to the citizens of Raipur city on Friday.
The buses would ply on roads of Raipur and cover routes on Urla, Silyari, Nandanvan, Kurud and Kharora areas.
On this special occasion, Singh said that the government is working to provide basic amenities to the people of the city. later, the Chief Minister Raman Singh himself board a bus.
Public Works Department Minister Rajesh Munat, Water Resources Department Minister Brijmohan Agarwal, legislators Shrichand Sundarani, legislator Naveen Markandey, Raipur Municipal Corporation Speaker Prafull Vishwakarma, District Panchayat President Sharda Verma and Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department, Ajay Singh were present on the occasion.
