Though Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has filed a defamation suit against him, Congress leader KK Mishra, who had leveled allegations of Chouhan's wife Sadhna Singh's involvement in the MP Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam, stood his ground and asserted that he has complete faith in the judiciary, but not in the Chief Minister.
While talking to media persons in this regard, Mishra said, "I have come to know that it is not the Chief Minister, but the government which has filed a complaint. It will be decided if the case will be taken up or not."
He further said that he is still standing by his words. He has faith in the judiciary, but not Shivraj.
Earlier today, lawyer Anand Tiwari filed the defamation case representing the Madhya Pradesh Government against KK Mishra for his alleged comments at a press conference on June 21 targeting Chief Minister Chouhan and his family.
A Special Task Force (STF) was formed by the Madhya Pradesh police for an investigation into the MPPEB scam which has arrested laxmikant Sharma, a former state technical education minister.
Even as the high profile teachers' recruitment scam in Madhya Pradesh is being linked to Chief Minister Chouhan's wife, Sadhna Singh, the Congress has dragged Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti's name too into it.
