Announcing Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia for the five-year-old girl hailing from Damoh in Madhya Pradesh who was brutally raped and killed in Haryana, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided to send a police team to Jhajjar.Chouhan also talked to his Haryana counterpart ML Khattar seeking stringent possible action to the guilty in the matter.
The girl, daughter of a couple based out of Damoh had gone to Jhajhar for seeking employment was raped and kipped recently. Girl’s father was involved as a mason in Jhajjar.The matter resonated in cabinet meet in Bhopal on Tuesday where the Chief Minister ordered to send a police team to Jhajhar in connection with the shocking case.
Girl was raped by family’s neighbour Vinod Kumar alias Munni (26) in Jhajhar. The two families lived in Chhawni area in Jhajjar.The man, a habitual criminal had not only sexually assaulted the child but also killed her later couple of days ago. The police later had arrested the man.
Vinod’s family has deserted him after they got fed up of his misdeeds and the man lives alone.
