Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday announced an aid of Rs five crore to flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir.
The Chief Minister in his tweet said, “Our brothers and sisters of J&K are facing unprecedented hardships due to floods. MP pledges immediate assistance of Rs five crores for relief.”
Chouhan also appealed to the people of Madhya Pradesh to contribute generously to help the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “I appeal to all citizens of MP to come forward and contribute to the relief effort in J&K. As countrymen we shall stand firmly together,” the Chief Minister said in another tweet.
