The achievers of Class X and XII for the academic year 2014-15 were felicitated on Friday by lt Gen RS Panwar SM, VSM, Commandant MCTE, Col Comdt Corps of Signals, and the patron of army public school, Mhow.
The guest of honour, Mrs Anupam Panwar, Maj Gen Harvijay Singh, Deputy Commandant, MCTE and Mrs Charanjeet Singh also graced the occasion.
Students and teachers were awarded with merit certificates and a cash prize by the patron. Mrs Anupam Panwar felicitated the Class XII students with a certificate and cash prize. The patron congratulated the laurel bearers and stated that the API of army public school Mhow has risen due to the hardwork of the students and endevour of the teachers.
The patron also stressed upon the need to exploit technology for better learning in the classrooms. The accomplishment of the students in army public school was a major achievement by the school. He motivated the students by stating that it is sincerity of purpose and dependability that matters more in life than intelligence. He wished the students all the best for their future and was confident that the school would continue to attain greater heights.
Twelve students of class XII felicitated were- Shikhar Agrawal (school topper 94.8), Alankrit Sahib (94.4), Ananya Nair (93.8), Akash Mandloi (92.4), Pankaj Verma(92), Ajay Singh (90.8), Kushal Punia (93.2), Tushar Khandelwal (93.2), Namrata Bhadoria (92.8), Malvika Tiwari (89.4), Chinmay Pant(86.6), Preeti Kumari (84.6).
Five students of class X, who secured a perfect 10 CGPA are- Shailesh Kumar, Vaibhav Bisht, Dipankar Shukla, Amit Singh and Nikunj Nawal. The students of the music club and dance club showcased their talent by putting up mesmerizing performance on the stage.
