Arrangements for the immersion of idol of Durga in the city on October 15 has been completed .The procession will end at Rani Kamalapati Ghat and Prempura Ghat where the emersion would be done.
Idols from different parts of the city would gather at Bharat talkies square and the procession will follow path including Central library, Itwara, Mangalwara, Chote Bhaiyya square, Jumerati gate, Sindhi market, Peer gate, Moti masjid, Retghat, Ginnori, Kamalpark, Kilol park and would end at Kamalpati Ghat.
Those idols which are would be immersed at Prem Ghat would follow path Polytechnic, TTTI road, City depot square, 25 battalion and Bhadbahda trisection.
From Bharat talkies the idols which are going to be immersed at Prempura Gaht would move from Bharat talkies to Talaiya police station trisection, lili talkies square, PHQ , police control room, Roshanpura square, Rangmahal talkies square, Jawahar square, Depot square finally reaching Prempura Ghat.
Following the Durga immersion procession traffic diversions are made by the traffic police. After 6 pm heavy vehicles would not be allowed to enter the city from Khajuri Bypass, new Bypass lambakheda, Sukhi Sewania Bypass, Patel Nagar, Karond Square, lalghati, Prabhat petrol pump, Subhash Nagar railway crossing, Jhinsi Square, Habibganj railway crossing, Suraj Nagar and Misrod 11 mill road. After 2 pm the MPRSTC buses and other private buses of public transport would not be able to enter city to reach the bus stand these buses have to take diverted route for buses arriving from Hoshangabad have would diverted from Prabhat square and would follow path of 80 feet road, Bajaria trisection, Alpana trisection and bus stand.
Buses arriving from Indore would be following the lalghati, Royal Market, Bhopal talkies square route to reach bus stand. After 2 pm commuters and taxies would not be allowed to move from Alpana trisection, Pul bodga, Taliya trisection towards Bharat
talkies square. During the Durga Idol immersion procession at VIP road commutes from Airport would be using Bypass to reach Old city area.
On October 16 vehicles would be allowed to move from Polytechnic square towards Kamla Park and from Roshanpura towards PHQ, lily talkies square,Taliya, Bharat talkies square, Hamidia road, Royal market the vehicles would be allowed to move.
