State Congress has demanded that an FIR be registered in Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Twitter handle hacking within seven days failing that the party would lodge complaint of the same with the cyber crime police.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief spokesman KK Mishra while addressing mediapersons here on Wednesday said, “The twitter handle of Chouhan was hacked on November 9, the Congress party demanded then only that an FIR in that regard should be registered under cyber crime and thorough investigation should be done.”
“Fifteen days have passed since then but no FIR has been lodged in the case. The Chief Minister himself has put down the case in cold baggage. Neither Chouhan nor officials of his secretariat are able to tell as who had hacked the twitter handle of the Chief Minister,” Mishra added.
He said that we assume that Chief Minister’s account might have been hacked by some Pakistani or Bangladeshi; hence thorough investigation should be done in the case.
The Congress leader while reminding the media that nonsense remarks were made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Chouhan’s twitter handle on November 9, as the issue is related with the Prime Minister and Chief Minister hence whole truth of the issue should come in public. Media should also execute its responsibility in it, he added.
