Chouhan has come down to politics of suppression: AAP

Staff Reporter

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has now come down to politics of suppression.

AAP Madhya Pradesh convener Alok Agarwal while talking to media persons here on Saturday said that reverse Ganges is flowing in the State as honest people are punished and criminals are patronised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government of the State led by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. “Today police arrested AAP workers in Katni who were peacefully protesting the transfer of promising young and honest IPS officer Gaurav Tiwari and Hawala Scam. The conditions in the State have become such that police is protecting the criminals and arresting the AAP workers who are raising voice against injustice,” Agarwal said.

Reverse Ganges is flowing in the rule of Shivraj, whatever happened today in Katni shows that the Chief Minister has come down to politics of suppression, Agarwal added.

Agarwal further said that the accused of Hawala Scam minister Sanjay Pathak and BJP state president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan’s son Harsh Singh should go to jail instead the peaceful demonstrators who were demanding justice. Chouhan Government and police administration have lost people’s faith due to whatever happened in Katni last days, he added. He said that the AAP workers are not going to afraid with the arrest and they would continue protesting the Hawala scam. The AAP is raising the issue since the next day of Gaurav Tiwari’s transfer and hold a protest demonstration on Tuesday. On Friday also the AAP held statewide demonstration over the issue while today our workers were peacefully protesting in Katni while they were arrested,
