Chaotic scene were witnessed at Bagh Mughalia extension after policemen misbehaved with a family whose women in the house objected urinating of policemen outside their house and later beaten a family member at the police station when he had gone to lodge complaint.
On Monday night the policemen misbehaved with Laxmi Shirole at the house after she opposed urinating of the policeman.
She alleged that she was in the veranda when the policeman stopped in the police vehicle and started to urinate which she opposed but the policeman instead of apologising them started to abuse and scuffled and started to beat with the cane with the family members and threatened and left the spot.Later, when Jitendra went to lodged complaint the same policeman was at the police station and started to abuse and thrashed Jitendra and instead of registering FIR he registered a case under section 188 of the IPC against him, alleged Jitendra.
The victim Jitendra Sirole was hit in his head by policeman during the whole episode. The locals who gathered to oppose policemen feared to take further action and failed to support Jitendra.
Jitendra deals in pharmacy and had alleged that he was threatened by the police. In the night his mother Laxmi and other family members were threatened by the police.
On the other side police said that the locals were roaming and in a bid to disburse few might have sustained injury. Senior officials failed to provide detail and said that they would look into the matter.
