Office of the Chief Electoral Officer will issue permits for vehicles to be used for transport of electioneering material by political parties (national or State-level). Permit will be given for one such vehicle. Concerning political party will have to give name of the district where the vehicle will be used, route map and date of plying along with application.The commission has directed the CEO office to ascertain that such a vehicle is not used for electioneering. Expenses on this vehicle will be included in the election expenses account of concerning political party. Polling for the second and third phase of lok Sabha elections is to be held in the state on April 17 and 24, respectively.
