BJP state president and MP Narendra Singh Tomar while talking to the mediapersons after the meet said, “The two-day State election committee meeting attended by its all 16 members has unanimously finalised single name on most of the seats.”
Tomar further said that the names finalised by the State election committee would be forwarded to the Central election committee that would formally announce the list of party candidates.
He said that the committee has considered all sections of society during the brainstorming for selecting the candidates for November 25, assembly polls. Discussions were also held for providing adequate representation to women and youth, he added. He said that the meeting of the central election committee would be held in New Delhi on October 31.
