Barkatullah University (BU) administration is not able to conduct Masters of Education (MEd) and Masters of Physical Education (MPEd) examinations due to unavailability of information regarding affiliation of colleges from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Alike affiliation to technical courses and colleges by AICTE, affiliation from NCTE for BEd, MEd, MPEd etc is necessary besides affiliation from respective university. BU administration is waiting for months to receive the list of affiliated colleges from NCTE to conduct examinations. More than 1000 students are facing dark future due to non-availability of the desired information.
It is worth mentioning that NCTE has ordered BU administration to conduct examination of students of only those colleges which received affiliation from NCTE before April 1, 2012. The dilemma for BU administration is that NCTE has not issued the list of such affiliated institution till now even admissions in all the colleges in academic session 2012-13 were carried out.
