Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati here on Tuesday hinted a major policy shift promising welfare of Sarva Samaj like ‘what she ensured’ during her four Governments in Uttar Pradesh, if she comes to power in MP.

The BSP chief even claimed she wrote to BJP government for offering reservation to the disadvantaged sections of the upper castes.

Launching her election campaign in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, the former UP Chief Minister addressing an election rally in Bhopal explained the reason behind unfruitful alliance talks with Congress alleging the Congress wanted to offer weak seats to the BSP so as to end its existence in the state. She also accused the grand old party of being unnerved after seeing BSP’s growing clout in areas adjoining Uttar Pradesh.

“This is the reason the Congress leaders started leveling baseless allegations against BSP after collation talks failed,” said the BSP chief at BHEL Dussehra ground.
