With National Green Tribunal instruction, the BMC squad is also taking stern action in various areas of the city. The squad appealed the citizens not to use the polythenes as they were greatly harmful for the environment. It also advised citizens to carry a handbag or a cloth bag along with them when they go to buy the vegetables from the market.
