Madhya Pradesh Congress has lodged a complaint against the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) with Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) SS Bansal, stating that it is organising a bike rally in Garoth Assembly constituency against the rules. In complaint to the CEO, Congress Spokesman JP Dhanopia said that the BJYM has decided to take out a bike rally covering all the 263 booths of the constituency on Tuesday. Earlier, on June 17, the Congress had sought permission from SDM for vehicle rally in constituency, which was not granted stating that it was against the rules.
Dhanopia further alleged that a rath yatra of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was organised on Sunday and in the programme, Government machinery was misused as administrative officials worked for electioneering. A complaint in this regard has already been lodged with the Commission, but no action has been taken to date. In want of stern action, the BJP leaders are out for violating model code of conduct, he alleged.
