For the past 6-7 decades Congress has not worked for the benefit of the farmers and used the farmers as vote bank only who have faced scarcity of basic facilities said BJP State president while addressing a meeting at the start of Kisan Sandesh Yatra at Devtalab Assembly constituency.
The upliftment of the farmers started when BJP came to power in the state and which could be witnessed from the cultivated area which increased to 40 lakh hectares from 7 lakh hectares. Congress
The farmers have been provided with zero percent interest loan and insurance ofRs 8000 crore has been paid for crop insurance.
On the occasion MP from Rewa Janardhan Mishra, Girish Gautam and district president Vidhyaprakash Shrivastava were present.
In Barwani district of Indore division MP Subhash Patel and former MlA Prem Singh inaugurated the Kisan Sandesh Yatra. Patel shared the beneficial works by PM Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
From Khargone Balkrishan Patidar lead the yatra, former MlA Jamna Singh Solanki led the yatra from Bhagwanpura, from Maheswar Rajkumar Mew and Hitendra Singh Solanki led the yatra.
Kisan Sandesh Yatra was also started in Dhar, Khandwa, Burhanpur and Jhabua districts. In Gwalior division yatra would start from June 29.

From Betul MP Jyoti Dhurve started the yatra. Huge number of party workers and office bearers took part in the Kisan Sandesh Yatra.
