BJP State chief slams foot march of Cong prez, calls it irrelevant

Staff Reporter

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary Arvind Bhadoriya has termed the foot march of State Congress president Arun Yadav as ‘irrelevant.’ “Yadav is always seen busy in accomplishing his political aspirations. The farmers of Madhya Pradesh are facing crisis of drought and in this difficult hour they need relief and support even as the sensitive Chief Minister of the State Shivraj Singh Chouhan is trying his best to provide relief to the peasants,” Bhadoriya said.

Taking a dig at Congress, Bhadoriya further said, “The Madhya Pradesh Congress President Arun Yadav is attempting to bake his political breads on the pain of farmers that is very unfortunate.”

Bhadoriya said that Chief Minister and his team are making all out efforts to help the paining farmers of the State. Review of drought and crop loss is going on. Chief Minister has instructed higher officials of the agriculture and finance department in this regard. The sensitive Chief Minister has considered the painful plight of farmers as his own pain and that is why he has postponed the celebrations scheduled on November 29 that is a big example of his sensitiveness, he added.

He said that it is time to rise above politics and provide strength to the farmers. BJP and the State Government are committed to stand with the farmers while the Congress is busy shining with its politics in this difficult time of the farmers. The Congress has gone issueless and it always remains in search of issues to serve its political interests.  It is unfortunate that the Congress is doing politics over natural disaster in order to cater its political interests. Besides, the State President of the Congress is showing his insensitiveness by taking out foot march in this difficult time, that is shameful and insult of farmer’s pain, he added.
