BJP questions Manishankar Aiyar's idea of nationalism

Staff Reporter

State vice-president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Raghunandan Sharma has said that the nationalism of Congress leader and former Union Minister Manishankar Aiyar is questionable. Sharma said, “He has ridiculed the nation by supporting separatist and anarchist forces. Recently he supported the terrorists by advocating the needs behind their activities. He said that the terrorists are not treated fairly as a result of which they choose such ways.”

In a statement issued here on Monday, Sharma said that the Congress had been in power for five and a half decades, but it is for the first time that public has sent the Congress party to such a lower level that it even failed to gain the status of the Opposition in the lok Sabha. Every possibility of Congress being in power has been shattered. Such foolish and baseless statements are the consequences of it, Sharma added.

Sharma further stated that by visiting 19 nations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strengthened India’s position at the global platform. Intensity of the land agreement with Bangladesh has been felt by the forces challenging India. Modi has used the power of Government as a medium of service. The Congress has failed to find a single case of corruption in one year’, he added.
