Staff Reporter

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central Government has decided to abolish 1,053 existing unusable laws.

Chouhan said, “People came to know of this important decision of the Modi Government when discussion over ending these useless colonial laws took place in the parliament and proposal was passed.”

Chouhan further said that from January 1, 2016 difficulties of people’s applications, especially those of youths  would come to an end as the process would be simplified because the compulsion of notarised verification has been put to an end and the compulsion of interview for various posts would also come to an end. The foreign Government was out to finish the self respect of Indians that is why the condition of verifying certificates and facts mentioned in the applications by submitting affidavits were imposed. The Centre by providing the facility of accepting self attested certificates increased the respect of the youths of the country. This initiative of Prime Minister is commendable, he added.

He said that the Chief Minister of the State Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also increased the respect of the youth of the State by issuing order to accept self attested certificates. Central Government has also provided relief to retiring officers and employees by launching pension portal due to that they would be able to see the status of their pension online, he added.

Similarly, the parents of handicapped children have been relieved of the procedure of compulsory transfer while the heir of decedent employees and or officers have been provided relief by exempting them from submitting affidavit for compassionate appointment, said the BJP MP.

He said that the people are eagerly waiting for PM Modi’s efforts to provide momentum in administration but the irony is that the bills brought up and passed in the lok Sabha to make useless laws ineffective have been stuck in Rajya Sabha by the Congress.
