The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh unit has termed the statement of former Vice President of India Hamid Ansari, against the modesty of his post.
State spokesman of the BJP Deepak Vijayvergiya in a statement said that it is expected from everybody who is on constitutional posts that he looks towards the citizens with similar view and encourage the society towards better coordination among people of different castes and religions.
However, soon after stepping down from the prestigious constitutional post, Ansari seems to have started searching for his place in political arena. Vijayvergiya alleged that probably Ansari was unable to come out of the mentality of opposition movement of his times.
He further said that factually, there is no other country in the World that adopts secularism in the lifestyle. He claimed that no other country is better than India and no other race like Hindus that is full of sensitivity. By overlooking these qualities, Ansari’s statement tried to suffocate the truth. “It seems that Ansari has got the separatism sentiments in his conventions and despite being on the second top most post of India, he has not able to forget those sentiments,” Vijayvergiya added.
He claimed that the secularism, India practices is not available in most of the Muslim dominated countries. After Narendra Modi has become Prime Minister, minorities people have received more facilities and they have got socio-economic cover. Ansari should consider the situation in Muslim dominated countries like Iran, Iraq, lebanon and Syria, where the citizens despite being of similar religion, out for killing each other, Vijayvergiya added.
