The media in-charge of the State BJP has created a stir after questioning the decision of the State Government to appoint Retd IPS officer as Chairperson of the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission. This action of the leader put the party in defensive mode.
The matter came into light after BJP media in-charge Hitesh Bajpai tweeted the selection of Retd IPS Officer VM Kanwar as Chairperson of Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission instead of a Retd Judge. He pointed out that this is violation of Human Rights Act.Responding to the tweet many Congress leaders re-tweeted. later the media in-charge also raised the same question on several WhatsApp groups.
