The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made it clear that it is in favor of reservation in promotions. Party state president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan in his address over the political resolution about the issue during party’s two-day state executive at Rewa on Thursday said, “BJP is in favour of reservation in promotions.”

“The year 2016 is historic year; we should assimilate the working and persona of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Balasaheb Devras and Nanaji Deshmukh in their centenary year,” said BJP national vice president – Madhya Pradesh organisational in-charge and MP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe while inaugurating the two day state executive of the party at party’s divisional office Atalkunj in Rewa.

Sahasrabuddhe also took the occasion to warn the ministers of Shivraj Singh Chouhan led BJP government of the state to maintain dialogue with party workers. “Distance between party workers and ministers of the state cabinet are increasing, hence the ministers should maintain dialogue with party workers to avoid discontent among party workers,” Sahasrabuddhe said.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Thanwarchand Gehlot, national general secretary Kailash Vijayvarigya and all the ministers of the state cabinet and office bearers of the state have reached Rewa to participate in the two day meet.

Sahasrabuddhe said that the Narendra Modi led NDA government of the centre has completed two successful years and we need to go among the people with the achievements of Modi government during this tenure. State president Chouhan welcomed the visiting delegates of the state executive. “We are proud that ever since people of state voted BJP to power in 2003 in the state we have rejuvenated the state that in the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan is doing surplus production of electricity, network of roads has been laid in the state and the BJP has gifted progress to the state,” he said.
