The statement by the Congress over VYAPAM scam is a reflection of despair and desperation,” said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.
Tomar was addressing the media persons here on Sunday at State BJP headquarters at Pandit Deendayal premises. While in a candid talk with the media persons, Tomar said that the VYAPAM case is not new to the people and moreover, the Congress party tried to raise this issue during the Assembly elections but people did not give much attention to it and the BJP again came to power in the State.
Tomar further informed that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has clearly stated that no leniency will be maintained in this issue and the culprits will not be spared. Notably, the case investigation is being monitored by MP High Court. Further, the Special Task Force (STF) is carrying out the investigation and the High Court is directing STF about the case giving the officials necessary instructions.
Over this, Tomar said that everyone should trust the High Court and its proceedings. Tomar then said that the Congress from the very beginning bypass the constitutional organization to fulfil its political interests and the statement by the Congress over VYAPAM is another example for this.
Tomar said that the case is being monitored by High Court and the proceedings are going in the right way. He further alleged that if Congress has any documents regarding the VYAPAM case then why the documents are not submitted to STF or High Court till nowIJ The Congress is just trying to ruin the image of CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan through its ‘Dirty Tricks Department’. The Congress should stop doing it immediately, Tomar added.
