leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Ajay Singh asked Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that despite court order lal Singh Arya is not culprit than why Anoop Mishra was removed when only an FIR was lodged against him, why these double standards.
Singh in a statement here on Sunday said, “Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are toying with the law.
On the one hand they are not removing a Minister from the Cabinet who has been made accused in murder case on order of court while the same BJP and CM Chouhan took the resignation of the then Health Minister Anoop Mishra whereas only an FIR was lodged against him.”
Singh further said that the Chief Minister should tell that why he is adopting double standards in similar cases. Arya was accused in MlA Makhan Singh Jatav murder case since beginning but non of the agency was taking action against him because of Chief Minister’s pressure. That is why the family of Jatav knocked door of the court to seek justice. And after the decision of the court the Chief Minister is shamelessly saving Arya, he added.
He said that the Chief Minister who boasts of rule of law in the State is himself protecting a murder accused. The Chief Minister could go to any extent to save his Ministers, today there are many Ministers in his Cabinet who are involved in serious crimes but they are not criminals because they are protected by the Chief Minister.
